Repeat Infringer Policy

Aquaduct Data Strategies LLC Last Updated: 2026-07-23

Aquaduct Data Strategies LLC maintains a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers, as required by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512(i)). This policy applies to the products we operate that host user-submitted content — principally Runner’s Review.

Strike System

We record a “strike” against a user account each time we remove content in response to a valid DMCA takedown notice.

StrikeAction
FirstInfringing content removed; written warning sent
SecondInfringing content removed; written warning sent; account restricted for 7 days
ThirdAccount permanently terminated

What Counts as a Strike

A strike is recorded when we receive a valid DMCA takedown notice regarding content you posted, and:

If a counter-notification results in the original takedown notice being withdrawn, the associated strike is removed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. See our DMCA Policy for how to submit one and the process we follow.

Account Termination

On a third strike, your account is permanently terminated, you may be prohibited from creating a new account, and your submitted content may be removed. We may retain records of infringement history as required for legal and compliance purposes.
